Our readers love social media marketing how-to’s, tips for small business owners just getting started in social media and insights on social networking trends.

I am specifically interested in network-specific articles with actionable, bulleted lists.

If you’re a small business owner, new to social media marketing, I would love to hear stories of your social media marketing challenges and the steps you did/have/will/might take to overcome those challenges.

Guest Posting Guidelines:

• Typical posts are 500-900 words, and feature section breaks (headers).
• All article content must be original, never published before, and we do not accept submissions with blatant promotions of your product/services.
• You agree to not publish the post anywhere else, including on your own blog.
• Authors must submit an Author Bio, with your Twitter handle, website URL and photo (gravatar or Twitter image will work).
• We do not allow excessive affiliate links in the article body. Please use or the Author Bio in addition to relevant quality article-related links. All links are subject to approval.
• If you have images you would like to include, you will need to send them along with source information. If you do not send any images, we will find or create a relevant one to use for thumbnail/feature image purposes.
• Social Amateur will review all articles for spelling/grammar, and may change headlines or sentence wording (for clarity).
• We publish a maximum of one guest post per day, and often schedule posts 1-3 weeks in advance.
• Once approved, you will receive notification of when your post will go live.
• Social Amateur may promote posts on Alltop, Twitter, FB, Google+, LinkedIn, Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, etc. You are invited to promote/share as you see fit.
